Former Vermont Captive Regulator Len Crouse Joins Towner Management

Burlington, VT (April 20, 2008)—Len Crouse, former top captive insurance regulator in Vermont, was named Partner of The Towner Management Group’s U.S. Operations.

Crouse was a long-time former director of captive insurance and deputy insurance commissioner for the State of Vermont. During this tenure, the domicile grew to become the world’s second largest captive domicile in terms of total written premium.

“Words can’t describe how happy we are to welcome Len into The Towner Management Group family,” says Guy Ragosta, CEO and Partner of TMG’s U.S. operations. “Len’s name is synonymous with captive insurance in the United States, and he will provide expert direction for companies who seek to limit risk through domestic captive insurance companies.”

One of the country’s foremost experts on captive insurance legislation, Crouse is a frequent speaker at captive conferences nationwide and was given the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) lifetime achievement award in 2007.
