Towner’s Crouse Discusses Captive Domicile Glut at Kentucky Conference

Burlington, VT —Len Crouse, partner with The Towner Management Group’s U.S. Operations and a familiar name in the captive insurance industry, will be a featured speaker at the Kentucky Captive Association 2009 Educational Conference, November 3-4, 2009, in Louisville, Kentucky.

“Some 33 states now have captive legislation on their books,” Crouse says. “How many do we need and how many will survive? I’ll share with conference attendees what I know works and doesn’t work in the regulatory field.”

Crouse, a long-time former director of captive insurance for the State of Vermont and one of the country’s foremost experts on captive insurance legislation, is a frequent speaker at captive conferences nationwide and was given the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) lifetime achievement award in 2007. By the time he joined Towner Management Group (TMG), Vermont had grown to become the world’s second largest captive domicile in terms of total written premium.
